GRAFIS is a modern CAD software for garment design. It allows the creation and editing of cuts, their grading and the output on printers and plotters as well as the export of the finished cut patterns in different data formats. In addition, GRAFIS includes a cut-to-size program that can be used to design and then plot the finished models. Also the output on cutter is possible. In particular, the interactive basic designs allow for extremely flexible and user-friendly cutting and processing. The special strengths of GRAFIS are particularly evident in the manufacture of custom-made cut-to-size or custom-made garments.

GRAFIS offers a large number of interactive basic designs, such as tops, pants, skirts, sleeves, collars and pockets. The basic constructions of GRAFIS are stored construction specifications which are recalculated again and again with the respective set-up tables. These interactive basic constructions can be easily modified by clicking and dragging, or by entering values, and offer a wealth of possibilities for fit optimization and model modification.

GRAFIS works in the creation of cuts according to the design principle. The starting point for the work with GRAFIS are in the body body measurement tables, which are stored in different measuring systems. These include, for example, sample and cut-off points for the display of strip and carpet materials, use of image slices, automatic formation of fixing groups, consideration of material errors and run-in values. It is also possible to choose from different delivery variants, such as doubled or tubular goods. When composing a sectional drawing, parts from different models can be selected.
